This understanding helps us from slipping into often hard to see "comfort zones" subtly informed by the eight worldy dharmas. This retreat will explore the differences between authentic renunciation and genuine dharma practice and how the ego uses the dharma to enhance (or manage) samsara. Prerequisite: One full 6-day retreat with Tsoknyi Rinpoche III Notes: Attending this retreat in full is a prerequisite to the 2010 Monthlong. However, those who will be attending "Celebrating the Return--A Gathering of Disciples" with Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche in Boulder on August 14th & 15th will be allowed to begin the Renunciation Retreat on August 16th because of these extraordinary circumstances.
