Weibliche Weisheit des Schneelandes: Gesaenge der Dakini

October 10 - 15, 2010

Tsoknyi Rinpoche III

Yeshe Tsogyal, the daughter of an 8th-century nobleman was described to the King of Tibet as a young woman of heavenly beauty. She was the main disciple of Padmasambhava, the Second Buddha, and in his service recorded and compiled his teachings and instructions. For the sake of future generations, she hid these terma treasures for rediscovery.

In Tibetan Buddhism, Yeshe Tsogyal personifies the realized female potential for liberation in one lifetime. Her insight and realization were reflected through her "dohas," or spontaneously uttered poetic songs of insight. In this retreat, Tsoknyi Rinpoche will give teachings on the nature of mind that are based on one of the dohas of Yeshe Tsogyal.
